I Nearly Laughed My Head Off

I saw Puppynap putting on his shoes and putting on his shoes means just one thing, he's on his way out. I really wanted to go I think I'm going mad not being allowed out anywhere apart from the back garden but it was OK he said that as I was looking a bit better that he was going to take me up to see nanny. Hurrah!

It was so lovely being out, I got to sniff around all the flowers and I wasn't rushed away I was allowed to take all the time I wanted. There's some very pretty purple one's just down the road that I loved the smell of.

When we got to the stream I had a little drink I didn;t realise how tired I would be so I took my time and smelt some yellow ones and a dog came near by but Puppynap picked me up and carried me away.

After we left we met another dog but Puppynap wouldn't let me go near him as well. The man was allowed to give me a big stroke. Oh why won't he let me play or say hello to the other dogs today?

There wasn't any squirrels around today when we saw nanny but I was so glad to see another dog when we left but Puppynap pulled me the other way. I sat down, right I want to know why I can't go near dogs I've been a good girl, so I barked at Puppynap.

He then said that I wasn't allowed to go near boy dogs because he said because of my lady times that they would try it on with me and he looked very serious. I didn't know what he meant but he looked so serious I couldn't help myself and nearly laughed my head off.

It's Tiny

Puppynap has been out in the garden doing some horticulture things but it was OK he had the window open and was talking to me through it so I didn't get lonely.

Then I saw Tiny watching his mummy doing the same thing and I called over to him to say hello and to come over and play. He couldn't though because there was a great big fence in his way and daddy and Puppynap say I'm not allowed to go out to play at the moment because of my lady times. These lady times are a right pain I hope they are over soon!

Tiring Times

This lady times thing is very exhausting. Every time I go to do something I just get so tired that I can't. For example just now I went and got my dishcloth blanket toy to play with and by the time I got it I was just too pooped to play with it so I went fell asleep on it instead, lady times - tiring times.

Sabotage

Puppynap is asleep in the sofa and daddy has been working on his computer all afternoon and I just want some attention. I know I'm going to sabotage things and close this thing down before he see's.

Nadia Returns

That little tortoise Nadia has wokened up. I was asleep and then all of a sudden Puppynap brought in a great big bowl of water. I thought he was bringing it in for me as I wasn't feeling too well but then he put that Tortoise in it.

Wow she's so small I went over to have a look at her and she put her nose on mine. I can't wait until she finishes swimming so that we can play. Hurrah Nadia has returned!

Washing Witches Hat

I got up really earlier this morning as I wasn't feel too well and I just wanted to be cuddled by daddy or Puppynap to make me feel better.

Puppynap did that and I fell asleep but when I woke up I saw he was in the garden and there was something very unusual out there so I went to have a look.

Puppynap said it was called a washing witches hat. What you do is put all your clothes on it and they spin around really quick and all the water spins out of them. It's brilliant I sat out there for ages once Puppynap came in just watching them go around and around. If I was feeling better I know I would have jumped up and bit really hard and then gone for a ride but I'm not going to do that today but I will one day.

Lady Times

Twevors mummy came over to see me yesterday and she gave me loads and loads of cuddles. Twevor didn't come because he had a cold. Wow I've never heard of a dog having a cold before but I suppose he must be tucked up in bed like daddy was when he had a cold.

This morning just before she went away she let me play biting the hair. I thought a girl made that came up but no it's a game other girls know as well.

When she went I was really tired after all that playing so I decided to have a little sleep. I'm having lady times as Puppynap calls them and it's tiring me out a bit more quicker than normal. Just as I was falling asleep I heard a big noise outside and went to investigate.

Daddy and Puppynap were hovering the grass so I went out there to help them. They were very grateful for all my help they said so and gave me big cuddles. I'm now double tired and so am going to sleep all day I think.

My Emerald Jumper

The Elf has come, the Elf has come. I love it when the Elf comes. She always gives me lot of attention and strokes and laughs a lot.

Today she brought me a new Emerald jumper. I love it.

Oh there's Lil' I'm going to go and show it to her, I hope she likes it.

All The Things I Can Do

Puppynap took me for another walk this afternoon and I decided it's time to show him what a big girl I am now and all the things I can do. Come on lets go!

I can bound.

and dash really fast as fast as a horse

Shake my mane like a lion. I'm very very good at this one and love doing it.

Going down steep stairs although I don't really like doing it too much.

and I'm now brilliant at jumping up kerbs. I'm sure I could go around a racecourse now and beat all those horses at it.

Can I Go?

I've just seen my friend Tiny being taken for a walk by his mummy. He can't be tired today like he was yesterday as he was bounding up the road. I called out to him but I don't think he saw me, he was trying to get to sniff some flowers. 

I shouted upstairs to Puppynap to come and get me so that I could go but he didn't hear me as he didn't come down. If he comes down quick though we can still catch Tiny up.

Laugh Day

Puppynap just took me out for a long walk and I made lots of new friends.

First of all we went to a shop and Puppynap went in side and left me out by the door. A nice lady with a red coat came up to me to keep me company and gave me a big stroke and talked to me while he was inside. he did leave me a treat so I didn't mind.

Then we went to another shop and while I was waiting a lady and her son waved at me from inside. I didn't wave back I've not really learnt to wave yet but I barked hello. Then a boy and a girl holding hands waked by and said hello and laughed. Finally Puppynap came out with some chips in his hands and we tussled for a bit trying to untie me from the lamp post.

Around the corner I made a lady sitting down jump and laugh when I tired to get into her shopping bag. Puppynap didn't see her at first and it made him jump when she laughed. She didn't mind though I got another stroke.

Then when we walked by a fire station 5 girls were sitting doing what Puppynap called gossipping. They loved me I know because they said so and they said that they wanted a jumper just like mine and did a lot of giggling.

Then just as we got home we saw Tiny's mummy and went to say hello. She said I was a big girl now and let me play on her lawn. Tiny was asleep so he didn't come out to play. I understand I was very tired and ready for a sleep too but then a lady called E came to say hello and said she thought I was beautiful, wow thank you for that and for the strokes. 

In the end it was time to go indoors and although I wanted soooo badly to go to sleep I can't all the time that Lil' is on the stairs looking at me. 

It's been fantastic all my new friends I've made today and all of them have been laughing I think it must be laugh day.

NEP The Tunnel Monster

Puppynap always take so long to leave the house when he takes me for a walk getting ready and checking things that sometimes I just give up and go to sleep. Three times he got to the front door today before we actually left.

I've very glad he did take me out though we had such a great time.

I managed to pick up both a stick and a piece of paper in my mouth at the same time. We had such fun wrestling over it. I don't know why Puppynap wanted it so much cause as soon as he got it he threw them away.

Today we went down the road to the tunnel. He let me sniff around for ages today. I even tried to climb the mountain outside of the tunnel but it was too high even for me.

There was no glass on the floor today so Puppynap let me walk through the tunnel. Half way through though he said quick run look there's NEP the tunnel monster. I wasn't frightened but I ran anyway.

On the other side I met another little dog called Ruby. She was only just a lit bit bigger than me but much shyer than I am. She was a lovely little girl I hope I see her again. 

After we left her Puppynap took me to the land of twigs. It was great there and I was allowed to play with them for as long as I wanted.

We then went to that place over the motorway and watched all the cars and vans and things going by. They were very noisy, in the end I had to shake all the sound out of my ears.

When we came home I didn't want to go indoors yet so I sat on the lawn sunbathing. You always sunbath on grass. Then a lady called M came over to see me and another one of their friends called F came and they all talked for ages. I didn't take any notice of what they were saying there were cats over the road and I wanted to go play with them. One of them who looks just like Lil' came right past me. I tired to chase him but Puppynap wouldn't let me. Oh well I suppose that's good I was very tired by that time.

It's True Miracles Do Happen!

I've been listening very carefully to what daddy and Puppynap have been telling me about Lil'. They said that if I was very quiet and didn't make any sudden movements or bark or anything then I would be able to get very close to her.

I was feeling pretty sleepy and so when she came down and jumped on Puppynaps legs I thought I'd give it a go. Wow it worked I was able to get right up behind her and have a good old sniff without her even knowing.

When she did she turned around and said Hello to me. I didn't know what to say back. It's true miracles do happen!

That cat that cry's a lot is outside again. He keeps on coming around here I don't know what he wants but he's very persistent. I called out to daddy to let me go out and play with him but he wouldn't let me.

The Land Of Oz - Becoming A Woman

Tonight was a very strange night. We went over to see a girl and a boy and that's when it started.

The boy was there as normal but the girl wasn't, a giant bear was there in her place. The bear played with me for ages and then I realised it was a girl. She had fooled me.

Phoebe and Flo came to play with me which was great. Well Phoebe came to play Flo came to watch a film that there friend a man from a place called China had lent them.

It was about a Wizard who fought a lot of evil witches. It was good though as a girl dressed up as one of the Lollipop men that Puppynap said came from that land. She's being very inventive tonight.

Later everyone gave me lots of attention. Daddy said today was the day that I became a woman. I don't know what he means maybe that's what happens when you meet the Wizard of Oz.

Sticks

Sticks are brilliant! I'm going to take this one inside and make a drawing on the floor.

Best Foot Forward

Puppynap is always telling me to put my best foot forward.

I didn't know what he meant until now. This one I think is my best one.

Almost All My Life

This snow stuff goes on for a long time.

Puppynap has just taken me out for my early morning walk and he made me wrap up very warm in my blue jumper and reigns. He said it was going to be cold outside and he wasn't wrong.

As soon as we started to walk around the snow came down again. I still think it's brilliant but doesn't it go on a long time? Almost all my life so far!

It Means It's Time

I hate it when daddy and Puppynap go out in the morning and leave me all alone. Lil's here but she likes to wake up slowly upstairs and Nadia is here too but she's ALWAYS asleep.

I sit and wait every morning in the window looking out for him to come back he pulls the blinds up especially. I love it when he does comes back, it means it's time to play. Yippee.

River The Wonder Dog

They've been in for ages and I wanted to go out so I kept on panting and looking outside. Hurrah they got the hint and they said that they would take me up to see nanny.

Yippee there's always lots of squirrels around up there for me to chase.

We went the longer way than normal which means that I get to go past the stream twice.  I like streams and Rivers and things like that but I don't think I'm ready yet to go paddling in it.

At the second part of the stream the ducks were there again. I don't know why they run away I'm not bothered by them at all.

I prefer sniffing at the flowers and the bulbs. That's much better fun! 

On the way home we went up a big hill and I was very good and kept up with daddy and Puppynap. When we was at the top we went down the other side again and there was a great big race track and I ran and ran and ran.
