It's brilliant cuddling up with David, he's like a lovely soft mattress and in this position I can lick him all I like. He must like it too, he's purring louder than I've ever heard.

My Full Quota
Wow, after all the thunder and lightening last night it's turned really boiling and we're all out in the garden together.
Nadia is having her lunch, some dandylions...
...David is having a clean under the garden shade, he's a very clean cat and me...
...well I'm catching up with some sleep under the chair. I didn't get my full quota last night.
That Was One Nasty Storm!
That was one nasty storm last night!
It started just as we were going to bed, lots of bangs and the sky went all white. Puppynap cuddled me in close to him on the sofa to make sure I was OK and I was for a bit. Then it got really bad and it was happening all at the same time.
Daddy said everything would be OK and I should stay close to him and cuddled me next to him on the bed but I was so scared I couldn't stop shaking or panting and as nice as it was being close to Daddy and Puppynap, each side of me, I just couldn't stay in the bedroom so I came down the stairs.
Daddy followed me and for a while he sat with me and made a little tent between him and the sofa and that felt a little bit better and I decided I was ready to go back to bed but just as we got settled.
BANG!
I ran back down the stairs and cuddled up on the sofa all night. I don't like storms, they are scary like fireworks!
I'm so glad it's all over now and I'm so tired, I've hardly slept, I'll have to spend the day catching up with my sleep, I do hope they are quiet when everyone gets up!

On Guard
Puppynap has said he's giving Nadia another chance outside in the garden. She escaped again into the next door and everyone was very embarrassed but he's been all around the garden very carefully blocking up what he thinks are Nadia's escape routes.
AND...
He's got me on guard!
Don't worry I'll keep an eye on her and report in if she tries to get out, just listen out for my call!

I Tried To Eat The Seeds
When Daddy came home I got all excited running around the garden, we always play chase when Daddy comes home but today was different.
Today daddy said we was going to do some planting.
Wow!
I'm supervising.
Daddy did lots of planting and things and then when he wasn't watching I went to check that he had done things right.
Well done Daddy.

All This Heat Business
I was just having a lay down at the back of the house, it's cooler there, when Puppynap said come on River, come see who's come to see you.
It's my new friend, she's called Holly!
We played rough and tumble and chase in the garden for a bit but it's so hot today...
...that we got out of breath very quickly and had to go and have a lay down on the stones, in the cool. It's exhausting all this heat business!
The Fan
Phew it's really hot today. Puppynap said it's the hottest day of the year and one of the hottest days ever, I'm not loving it much!
Nadia is, she loves the heat. She's indoors again as she tried to escape into the next garden again yesterday.
Still Puppynap's looking after us both, he's just brought the fan down to cool me down.

It's The Last Bit
Oh, it's the last bit of our Holiday at Home and I'm feeling sad, Daddy is going back to work tomorrow.
We're making the most of it though by having a lovely sleep together, I've loved having Daddy home with me.
Tea
Everyone's out in the garden and I smelt something I hadn't smelt before.
It was something called tea. I went to have a little bit of it out of Daddies cup as I was a bit thirsty but he said I wasn't allowed tea.
So I waited until he wasn't watching and went and tried to have some from the girls cup. She saw me and moved it backwards and laughed.
I'll have the last laugh, I'll just lay here and pretend to be asleep and when they aren't looking I'll pop over and give it another go. I wanna know what's so fascinating about it now?

A Heatwave Is On It's Way!
Phew it's even hotter today than any other day. Daddy said it should be good practice for when we go and live in a hot country. Wow!
That sounds fun, I must be a good girl and leanr to lay in the shade when it's very hot, Puppynap says a heatwave is on it's way!

Puppynap My Other Daddy
When I woke up I remembered that there was something that I forgot, then I remembered...
...it was Puppynap, my other Daddies birthday today. Happy birthday x
Then some plants arrived and I went to help my Daddy sort them out...
...and then we went for a walk.
Today we're going down the road.
Then up this road.
Past the house with the doggie who always barks.
Sorry, can't find a way in, can you see me?
Then we went up this side of this castle.
I know what's coming up.
And across the big road, run Daddy, run.
And up by the stream. It's very hot today and I could do with a drink, all this water is making me want one.
Thank goodness they brought some with them, I couldn't get any from there.
I know where we're going now,

In to see Nanny and Grandad.
And say hello to the squirrel up the tree.
Time for some more refreshments. Water ummm!
Then it was time to go home.
But boy was I hot.

Home to tell David all about my adventure.
It was lucky David burst Puppynaps pool, I managed to have a good old long drink to cool myself down.

And Daddy put my shade over me to keep me cool.
