Bed Time

I've learnt a new trick.

In the mornings when daddy gets up I go running around to Puppinanapper and jump up at the side of the bed to wake him up.

He's usually too tired to get up straight away so I get a lift up onto the bed and he cuddles me for a few minutes under the duvet.

It's lovely and warm and I get to give him a good wash.

The only trouble is when he does get up he puts me back on the floor and that makes me sad especially when he goes downstairs and leaves me at the top. I don't like walking down the stairs they are all shinny and slippy and so I'm trapped until someone comes and gets me.

Let Me At Him

There's that cat on our doorstep again. Let me at him, let me at him.

Oh why won't Puppinanapper let him in to play that's why he keeps on coming over here I'm sure. He wants to come and play with me and I want to play with him to.

Skating On Ice

Puppinanapper just took me for a walk outside all around where we live. The snow everywhere was great but I discovered something new. ICE!

It's like snow because it's all cold but that was OK as I was wrapped up warm. The thing is ice is different it's all hard on my feet and crunchy as well and this ice was different from the ice I eat.

But there's something different about it to. When you run to say hello to a cat in the street no matter how fast your feet go you don't really go anywhere.

Yes my feet went really really fast but I stayed in almost the same spot and I fell over a couple of times.

Puppinapper said I was skating on ice. I'm not sure I liked that part that much and when it came to the steps I wouldn't go down them in case I fell over again and that's a very long way down so I got a carry instead.

All Over My Nose

I've just been out in the snow again. It's everywhere and I've got it all over my nose.

Puppinanapper said that in some countries there's snow all the time. I wish I lived there I love it SO much.

I'm Not The Only One

I'm not the only one who loves snow. I've just seen Tiny make a break for it too he loves playing in the snow.

Hey Tiny come over here and play with me in it we can make snow dogs together.

It's Snowing, Run, Run, Run

When I woked up I couldn't find Puppinanapper and ran around everywhere searching for him. In the end I found him in the bed in the other room hidden under the covers.

He must have been cold hidden up like that so I jumped up and in the covers to warm him up and to say come on it's time to get up.

Daddy took me downstairs and then I saw it. There was snow everwhere. I didn't know what to do first so I ran up in the front window and looked at some little people walking up the road in their red boots and then I ran up the back and had a look out the window in the door.

This is just amazing I didn;t want to wait until someone came out with me so I jumped through the window and ran and ran and ran, It's snowing and it's my favourite thing today.

Nursing The Sick

Daddy hasn't been well all weekend and Puppinanapper needed my help to look after him.

I gave him a bed bath with my tongue when he was asleep TWICE.

I also made sure I kept Lil' away when she came near as he didn't need to be woken up.

And best of all I've been keeping his feet warm as he cuddled up on the sofa under the duvet by sitting on them.

Puppinanapper says I'm very good at nursing the sick but it's very tiring I think I need a sleep myself now.

OK It Was Me

Puppinanapper went out and daddy is asleep and I was bored so I decided to play with his shoe again.

The lace is brilliant it's just right for my mouth and helps me clean my teeth and the other night I even managed to swing it over my head.

Puppinanapper came home though and caught me.

When he said who did that I looked at Lil' but he didn't believe me as he just kept on looking at me.

OK it was me.

Playing Chase

Puppinanappers been upstairs for AGES AND AGES and left me down here all on my own. 

I slept for a little while but then got bored and went outside to have a little play in the rain and my friend Love heart came over to say hello. 

I wanted to play chase but I don't think she had the time as she went off over the fence. Either that or she just doesn't understand that you don't run so far away that I can't get you then it's just called being left on your own standing in the rain.

Oh I hope he comes down soon I'm hungry.

Here I Am!

Puppinanapper kept on calling out my name. But I was right here sitting next to him.

River where are you he kept on saying.

I put my head up and looked at him but even though he was looking right at me he still called out my name.

I gave a little whimper but he said all he could see was a pile of cushions.

If I Sit Here Really Still

I Love Lil.

I love just looking at her. I love playing with her but she doesn't like that as much.

I just think it would be great to cuddle up with her one day. If I sit here really still she will understand that. I'm sure I just have to think it really really hard.

A Present From The Elves

Daddy came home and gave me my surprise. It was a present from the Elves.

My new walking reigns are fabulous just my colour. I think it makes me look a bit Scottish and so much better than my tight black one or the cat one that Puppinanapper uses.

Playing In The Sun

I've been playing in the sun almost all day today.

I saw some birds and I chased them and then I saw Love Heart and barked at her but she didn't say anything back to me. She must have been in a bad mood.

I also went out with Puppinanapper in the car and he said that I was very good. So good that he let me eat the cushion for a little while when we came back in. Well until he saw me anyway.

He said he's got a surprise for me coming up. I wonder what it is? I'd like it now I think.

We Hoovered The Grass

I just helped Puppinanapper hoover the grass. Well at least that's what I think he was doing the machine was like the one they use indoors

This one though makes the grass smaller. Wow.

The machine broke down before we could finish though. Puppinanapper unplugged it while I tried to make the break fixed. It didn't work though so we gave up doing that and played sparkly ball instead.

The Chamber of Secrets

It's been a wizard afternoon.

Daddy and Puppinanapper are watching a film about a little boy wizard. When they do this sort of thing they get duvets and pillows and things out. Daddy brought down his duvet and laid it out on the floor and I crawled into it.

I don't get allowed on the duvet much so it's always an adventure. Inside it was like a Chamber of Secrets.

After playing around for a while daddy and me feel asleep together. I curled up in to his neck it was lovely and warm there.

I Made A Break For It

Daddy just opened the front door and I saw my chance and I made a break for it!

I slipped past his legs as he called out. I jumped on to the front grass and turned to see if he was watching. He was!

Then.... of I went.

I'd seen that there was a big hole up the road. It looked great I've never seen one before and I wanted to put my nose in it.

Daddy started to chase me and I could see two men on the other side chatting near the hole.

One of the men called out to come over and see him.

I was already on my way silly man couldn't you see.

He picked me up and daddy caught up with me and said thank you and then he took me home but I did get to see in the hole when daddy picked me up.

I'l Make Sure I'm Quicker Next Time

Daddy has gone out somewhere but it's OK Puppinanapper spoilt me with two gravy bones and a bit long stroke.

I then saw Lil' in the window and ran up to play with her but when I got there an even bigger cat was sitting outside. I think he came over to say hello to me or to ask me to play but when I got there they both went away.

He couldn't have seen me, I'll make sure I run quicker next time.

River In a Box Again

We went to the a girl and a boy tonight. 

I like it when I go around there. Phoebe doesn't run away from me she let's me get very close to her. I don't really get to see Flo she stays somewhere else when I am there these days.

A girl gave me a two handed brush. I've never had one of those before and it was BRILLIANT it made me go really fluffy.

She then made me sit on a box again. It must have been a smaller box or I've grown a lot in a week!

Felix Is Sunbathing

Today I've been playing with all my toys all over the place. It's great.

My favourite at the moment is Felix and I've put him up next to me to do some sunbathing.
