Before We All Came In

When I got up there was thunder and lighting.

Make it go away!

Then it did and it got very hot. So hot I panted... 

...so Daddy put me under my garden shade...

...but I didn't stay there long. I wanted to feel the sun on my face and the wind in my hair.

Then we saw a helicopter.

And I checked out what Pupptbap was up to.

Then I had a drink in the shade, Daddy made me...

And moved me into position on my cool pad.

But I wouldn't sit still so they brought me inside in front of the fan then nanny and granddad and auntie J came to see me,

But I decided I wanted to be outside with Puppynap in the shade, watching was he was up to.

Then we saw a great big X in the sky. 

And I got fed some green peppers to help me re-hydrate and because I was hungry.

The Puppynap finished so I went for an explore as he tidied up.

Before we all came in to sit and watch films and chat and rest.

Thank Goodness For The Fan AND My Cool Pad

It's even hotter today than it was yesterday. Thank goodness for the fan AND my cool pad. I don't know how I would cope without them.

It's A Bit Cooler Here On The Cold Wood

I think today is the hottest day of the year ever.

A bit too hot for me.

I love it when it's sunny, the back door is open all day and I'm allowed to come in and out as much as I want.

The only trouble is it's so hot as well and that tires me out.

I couldn't even wake up when Daddy came home for a cuddle.

I Was Left To Babysit Granddad

I've had a brilliant weekend.

I thought it was just going to a quiet one and got myself all settled next to Daddies feet.

But then I heard a beep, beep. It was Nanny and Granddad, they had come to see me. 

Then Daddy and Puppynap went out.

Huff.

Then I realised, I was left in charge to babysit Granddad. I take such duties very seriously and made sure he was behaving. When Daddy and Puppynap came home we all had some pasta and played games on the TV.

Well they did I chased David around the house before I fell asleep tired with all the work I'd had to do today, they do need keeping in check those two.

And when I woke up I was given a great big cuddle and kiss. Today was a celebration in the sun, bit of luck it was sunny then, because today it was a birthday, the 7th birthday of my daddies living in this house. I wonder where they lived before?

Oh who cares this is just perfect now.

Sometimes on my play days with Nanny she just wears me out. 

Think she wears herself out too she was snoring so loudly today when my special food delivery came the man had to bang on the window to wake her up.

Silly Nanny - A Little Company

Nanny is silly.

Puppynap just showed me a picture she sent of her new foot stool, it's the same as our one she liked it so much. For a minute I thought she had a new friend then Puppynap told me it wasn't really real.

Silly nanny but I guess she must miss me all the time she's not here with me & needs a little company.

Fun Things To Do

I went to work with Daddy today.

I love it when I go in because I get to run in the field when we have a break and it's full of fun things to do.

I can say hello to the horses, they are very big and I don't call out hello to them because they are so big I don't want to scare them.

AND the best bit, looking down the holes in the ground for all the rabbits, trouble is the hole is just a bit too small for me to go down, but I try.

Oh No I'm Not Too Tired For That

Nanny, the sun is out Nanny can we go outside to play?

Nanny, nanny will you run around the garden with me?

Phew, that was tiring out.

But i'm not too tired to get Puppynap to come play chase int he garden now he's home, Oh no I'm not too tired for that!

We Didn't Come Straight Home

I've just had a big surprise that I didn't know was happening. I went to work with Daddy today for a treat but when we left we didn't come straight home.

No we went to see the Doctor. I don't mind it there too much they are very lovely and I get to explore all the gardens and then Puppynap turned up.

Then we went inside and I got a special treat and they weighed me. I'm now 7.5 which they said is good. Then I went in to see the Doctor, she's a lovely lady and she gave me a great big cuddle and then I heard her say to Daddy that my lumps have gone down and they were all really happy and clapped.

Yes I like it here.

I Can Honestly Say...

I've had a trim, bath, blow-dry, roast dinner, sunbathe in the window and a little nap and I can honestly say I am completely satisfied.

Thursday's Are Pretty Cool

Today is Thursday and on Thursday's Nanny comes to look after me and I get...

...to guilt trip treats...

...take control of the sleeping arrangements...

...get as many belly rubs as I want just by laying on my back...

...and get Nanny to chase me all the way around the garden. Yes Thursday's are pretty cool.
