It might be freezing cold outside today but it's lovely and warm here laying on Puppynap in the window. The sun is shining hot.

I've just had a lovely long sleep and my dinner, special diet food and green peppers and now I'm full of energy.

I've been playing hide and seek with Puppynap in the garden. I wanted to play with David but I couldn't find him but this is lots of fun.

He let me outside ages ago and just now he's come outside calling my name and looking everywhere for me but he can't see me. I just have to stay really still and patient and not break cover and I bet he won't find me before he gives up.

Back On The Menu

They're trying me on red peppers now. 

I've been good and not itched on the chicken and I've heard it's now back on the menu once a week. That's potato, chicken, my treats from my shop and my tooth sticks. 

I must just now make sure I don't itch on the peppers, they are my favourite!

The Best Way I Know How

Puppynap isn't feeling too well, he's got a cold or flu or something. No one else is here so it's up to me to look after him the best way I know how.

By falling asleep on his lap, it keeps him warm you know and that will make him better quicker I'm sure.

I Wonder What I Can Grab When They're Not Looking

I didn't know what was happening and then all of a sudden i was all coated up and in the car, we were going for a ride...

...to see some snow...

...and we kept going and going and I fell asleep.

But I did wake up when we stopped and I remembered we had been here before. We were at Daddy and Puppynap's friends house.

We'd come to see our friends for dinner.

And a explore around the garden.

It's such a lovely garden with so many toys to play with.

After dinner we all sat down for a chat and a catch up. I sat in the swinging chair. I was a little unsure of it every time I moved it moved. Still there was a great view of the dinner table from up there, I wonder what I can grab when they're not looking.

I Would Have Insisted On It!

I've been playing out in the snow. I was allowed as long as I wrapped up warm. No complaints from me it's so cold I would have insisted on it!

SNOW!

I didn't know why Puppynap was so excited, he opened the backdoor and stood there saying come on River, come outside.

I peaked past him and then I saw it and jumped as fast as I could.

Promise Time

I don't know where David has been all day but when he came in he jumped straight up on the sideboard, the one place I can't get to, and I know I've tried.

It took ages but I eventually got him to come over and sit with me, I even had to promise not to try and play rough and tumble. 

I wonder how long it is before the promise time ends?

I wasn't sure what was happening when Puppynap took my back room dinner bowl into the kitchen and then said he had a surprise for me.

I'm making sure Daddy doesn't go anywhere. Oh yes today he's all mine!

I Was Just Minding My Own Business

I was just minding my own business when all of a sudden Puppynap said to me why wasn't I seeing who had come to see me?

I was confused and jumped up into the window that's when I saw The Elf and the Husband Elf walking up to the door, I didn't even hear the beep, beep.

They've come to look after me and David while Daddy and Puppynap go out into London tonight. Good we can have some real fun, I think we should go for a run in the garden in the dark, yes that's what we can do!

I'd Forgotten That It Even Existed

Ooh what's that that Puppynap has just put on the floor?

Hang on a second, I know what this is.

Scrambled egg!

It's been so long since I've been allowed egg that I'd forgotten that it even existed.

Beef, chicken, potato and now egg, keep it coming!

The Pleasures Continue

Oh my goodness, I can hardly believe it, the pleasures continue.

Daddy and Puppynap had chips for dinner and they let me have three, two big ones and a small one. 

I so hope I don't start scratching again, I love chips and I have missed them.

Mash Potato

Last night I had some mash potato with my dinner. It was lovely I really missed it and afterwards I went running around the garden as fast as I could for ages, it gives me energy.

Just now Puppynap said as I've not itched more it looks like I can have that back on the menu. Brilliant that's another thing I can have again. Now I wonder what's next.

What An Exciting Day It's Turning Out To Be Already

I'm back in the cold car again this morning...

...Puppynap had to take his car to the garage to get some work done. I had great fun exploring everywhere, there's so many unusual smells here.

On the way home I got to run all around the shop car park there was hardly any here, I don't think I've ever seen it like this before and it was very slippy, we both nearly fell over.

But the frost doesn't stop me from jumping, oh no!

And then for added excitement as we got home the bin men turned up. What an exciting day it's turning out to be already.

I've been playing a trick on Puppynap. He's been all around the house calling out my name but I've been hiding.

The Wrong Time - Ooh Ooh

Puppynap put me in the car very early this morning. It was so cold that all the windows went white and we couldn't see through them. He got a scrapy thing and cleaned them up so I could see and then we went to the garage.

He chatted to the man but it turned out we had the wrong time for something then we and came back home but as he said we was going for an early morning walk...

...we did just that.

Everywhere you look things are white, it's not snow although it looks like it. It's that frost stuff again.

Ooh, ooh, slippy. Not great for jumping in but that doesn't stop me.

We went around to look and see if any Christmas decorations were still up but they wasn't, although the sun was, nice and bright.

Ooh, ooh very slippy, must take care.

Especially down the steps, ooh, ooh, watch out there Puppynap here I come get ready to catch me!

In Just A Minute

In just a minute I'm going to get David to cuddle up and give me a clean. It's really very easy to do, no matter what else he might be doing...

On The First Day Of The Year - Typical

I had a lovely lie in with Daddy this morning, that's what you do on the first day of the year.

When I got up and came down the stairs I noticed all the decorations had gone and everything was back to normal, and that normal included being able to get up into the window to look out and see everything.

Typical, just as I got used to it being there too!
