A Right Mud Bath!

Puppynap said he promised me he would take me out for an adventure today and he kept to his word, he put my jumper on me. I know not to get too excited when he does that as it then takes him about 20 minutes to actually leave the house.

By the time we did I was feeling a little bit tired.

But I didn't have time to have a sleep as we was there very quickly.

And then a lady came up to me and said I was lovely, she had a little doggie with her and we ran around playing for a bit. She said Puppynap should let me off my lead but he said he was too worried I would run away. She then said if we were going into the quarry he was wearing the wrong shoes as it was very muddy.

BRILLIANT!

Some other doggies came over to say hello and we played for a bit then Puppynap said it was time to say goodbye and we went towards the quarry place.

Yes I can smell some other doggies have been this way.

Brilliant wide open spaces and loads of mud for me to play in, although Puppynap said I shouldn't get too muddy.

Yes well we'll see about that!

Then there was the first big mud puddle. I could have walked around it...

...but I didn't, I went straight through it!

Come on Puppynap, you can make it up the steep hill, just make sure you don't slip over.

There's some lovely tree's up here.

Puppynap then said I could go wherever I wanted.

This way.

Up this hill.

Towards this big muddy bit. You'll enjoy it I pwomise!

He didn't like it much I really thought he would but when he slipped over I think that was hen he didn't enjoy it much. I waited for him while he cleaned himself up and looked at the lorries going by.

Puppynap says that sometimes the more you try something the more you can like it so I took him through another big water and muddy bit.

And showed him how to dry your feet on the long grass. He said I was being really clever.

I then found some leaves but they were all dried up and not too brilliant to play with, they were all soggy.

We then went to explore some ancient ruins, that's more up Puppynap's alley.

But I was still hoping that Puppynap would enjoy the mud with me. This time is went a little bit wrong and it was so deep I got stuck and Puppynap had to come in and get me. It went right up to me knees.

We both then scrapped some mud off on the grass by the ancient ruins.

I tried but I really don't Puppynap enjoys mud like I do.

I love it, I had a right mud bath!

Friends - He's A Cat You Know!

"Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest, it's about who came and never left your side."

I do love David, he's a cat you know!

Puppynap just said to me "Why are you laying their River?"

He Must Be Feeling A Little Bit Better

Hooray, HOORAY Daddy has come down, so he must be feeling a little bit better, and he's brought the duvet for us.

I know what I'll do, I'll get as close as I can to show you how much I love you.

So Warm And Snugly

I don't know what's going on Daddy is home today and in bed and Puppynap won't let me go in and play with him, even though I've tried loads of times to get Daddy to pick me up and put me in bed.

Oh well I suppose he must be very tired today, shame I can't get up there the bed looks so warm and snugly!

I've Searched Everywhere

I'm so confused, I've been everywhere looking for David but I can't see him anywhere. Puppynap says he's not gone out to play, I just need to search hard enough I'm sure I can smell him but I've searched everywhere I can think off...

...she must have disappeared into thin air

The Other Way Around

Puppynap said come on River, we're going out to get some fresh air before it rains but today we've got a surprise. Today we're going the other way around from our normal walk. I know the way follow me.

I was all excited to be showing Daddy the motorway when I saw another dog over the other side of the road.

I wanted to go to play with him but Daddy wouldn't let me, I tried to get there all the same.

It's not too busy on the motorway today, but there was enough cars for Daddy to see.

I wondered if we were going to go to the park...

...but we didn't, but we did go somewhere where i could have a good sniff.

A really good, long sniff. Yes other doggies have been this way.

And then we were at the place where all the rabbits live. I was glad I could walk down the hill today and not up it, it's very steep.

Although there was lots of leaves on the floor all mashed up there was some beautiful red ones still on a few tree's. They were very pretty.

And then we were at the tunnel.

I always walk on the side because sometimes there's glass on the floor and on the side I can smell other doggies.

And then the best bit happened. On the other side there was mud and I ran around and around in it.

I really love mud!

I Don't Think Anyone Will Notice

I've been playing out in the mud in the garden, but it's OK I don't think anyone will notice!

A Brand New Game - Treasure Hunting!

David's come up with a brand new game.

We started to play rough and tumble and then all of a sudden David ran under the sofa.

I was a bit confused, I didn't know what this game was, poking his head in and out and laughing. And then he said there was a surprise under the sofa waiting for me. Brilliant, we're playing treasure hunting!

I was just getting under to find the treasure when Puppynap came down and pulled me out and put me on the sofa.

Then David came up and gave me a kiss and a cuddle. It was lovely but I'm curious as to what the secret treasure are, I'll just have to wait until no one's around and then go looking again.

An-A-Pair-Of-Teeth

It was brilliant, David was a naughty boy when he was up on the table, he knocked loads of treats on the floor for me to eat. He said it was an-a-pair-of-teeth before dinner.

I think whatever he ate though made us both really clever. I thought we were playing chase and then he decided to play hide and seek and hid in a place he'd never been before, in the plant by the door.  I was an ever cleverer girl though, I found him, really easily!

All By Myself

I know it's only the afternoon but I'm so tired and Puppynap keeps on moving around and waking me up so I took myself up to bed, I even got on it all by myself.

Puppynap was very surprised when he came searching for me and found me here. I don't know why I can get up here, I just prefer to wake them up in the night to lift me up.

No More Getting Stuck

When Daddy and Puppynap got up they said Christmas was over and it was time to take down the Christmas tree. I was a little bit sad until I realised I've got my seat back in the window, no more getting stuck trying to have a little look out. Brilliant!

Determination In My Eyes

Grrr. Grrr. I've been in the garden and got myself all excited, run, run, run...

...determination in my eyes.

There's Daddy, there's Daddy, gonna get his foot, going for his foot.

Lamb, lamb, Daddies got my lamb.

It doesn't matter how many times you throw it up the other end of the room, I'm still coming back!

I Still Keep Checking

Even though it's quiet early in the evening I'm all ready for bed, cuddled up with Daddy on the sofa with the duvet, we've had a very busy few days.

Christmas and everything is all over now, I don't want it to be though and I still keep checking the door to see if anyone else is coming to see me. But they're not.

Humph!
