My Pace

Daddy and Puppynap said as I,ve been an extra special girl recently that today they were going to take me out on the longest adventure, AND we would all go at my pace.

Brilliant, let's go!

Where are we going?

Across this little bridge.

Ahh! I know where we are we're at the great big lakes.

*Sniff, sniff* Hang on I can smell something and it's not another doggie.

I knew it, it's the ducks that live on the lake.

Hang on, come back.

Ooh, you've gone to get the swans to come and say hello.

Well, they were a bit rubbish, they didn't come over to say hello to me, come on we best get somewhere else and quick.

Because there's a diving off the board competition about to start.

Wow, they are very brave doing that. I wonder if I should give it a go?

Or maybe I should join these people in swimming under the water. No I don't think I would like that very much at all, having a shower is bad enough.

But it was fun to watch them splashing around.

Oh finally the swans have come over to say hello, but they weren't very friendly, they hissed at me.

So Daddy said it's best if I just sit back a bit and watch them for a while, from a safe distance.

OK, enough of that now, if they don't want to play with me then I think it's best we move on.

Let's run!

Phew, that was great but I'm beginning to get tired and very thirsty, bit of luck we're surrounded by all this water.

Hey birdies, birdies, would you like to come and play with me?

No they didn't want to, that's OK they are only little, probably not old enough to play with doggies yet.

Wow what a view...

...and what a long day out we've had today, so long that I'm exhausted and can't take another step.

Daddy! DADDY! Pick me up and carry me to the car please.
