The Other Half
I knew it was coming as soon as Daddy started giving me a good old brush...
...and Puppynap put me on the table. Yes it was time for the other half of my spa day that they started last week.
OK then but remember you got most of me, just my legs.
They got my face as well!
Time for a quick shower.
And a cuddle on daddies arms, wrapped up in a nice warm towel.
Even warmer now I'm getting a blow dry and condition.
OK I might not like it but I can see a whole lot better now.
Where's my treat then?
Happy Daddy Day
Today is a very special day, it's called Happy Daddy Day.
It's the day when you let your Daddy know how much you love him. We hung out in the garden, my and my Daddy and Puppynap but when I woke up there were all gone.
But I could see them indoors chatting so I ran in and said to Puppynap that I wanted to be picked up so that we could all be together for the day.
We all hung out chatting for a while and then the sun came back out so we went out to hang out together in the sun.
But then the sun went back in again and we came in and I had a little sleep on Puppynap's legs.
It's really important for me to spread my love all around, I'm sitting up chatting to Daddy now and in a bit we're going to run around the garden. He doesn't know that yet but it's part of his Happy Daddy Day fun!

He's Already Been At It For 10 Minutes
I'm being a very good girl. We've both been asleep all of the afternoon but now that I can smell my dinner in the oven, I'm having the chicken, I thought I had better get up.
David woke up at the same time and when I saw him I ran straight over to him to play but he said he needed to have his post sleep bathe but that as soon as he was done we could play chase.
I don't know how much longer I've got to wait though he's already been at it for 10 minutes.

And We All Struggled For A While
I was waiting for Daddy to come home when all of a sudden...
...I could see someone else had come to see me.
The Elf's husband...
...and The Elf. They were both so happy to see me and gave me lots of strokes and cuddles.
And then Daddy came home and played with me.
We all had dinner and I hurt my paw and then they all gave me lots of cuddles and things and then Puppynap came at me with the claw cutters and we all struggled for a while.
Puppynap got a couple of them and my paw felt better but I'm not going anywhere near him now just in case he try's to get some more. I really do not like having my nails cut, he should know that by now.

I Just Don't Like It
I don't like it it keeps in thundering. I was up helping Puppynap with his work when it started. He cuddled me in but I couldn't stop shaking so he plugged in my special calm thing and it helped a little bit.
We then came down the stairs and it started again. Puppynap cuddled me in again but I just wanted to be on my own so he put my blanket and cushions right next to him so I could be close but on my own as well.
The noise in the sky has stopped again but I'm still a bit nervous, I just don't like it, why does it have to happen?

The News
Hooray, the rain and stopped and the sun has come out and Puppynap said it was the perfect time for us to go for a lovely long walk. I've got other idea's though.

I Hope He Doesn't Need My Help For Long
I've been up since very early this morning, Daddy had to go away for work and we was all up to wave him off.
The thing is Puppynap has also asked me to help supervise him at work today and I can hardly keep my eyes open, I've not even had the energy to do my hair the morning.
I do hope he doesn't need my help for long, I don't know how much longer I can stay awake.

Get Happy!
There's horrible thunder all over the place but Puppynap didn't seem to be able to hear it. I got all shaky and he came on the floor to give me a cuddle but it didn't make me feel any better.
David was near by and Puppynap but I still was scared and then all of a sudden Puppynap went on the computer and then said, "Come on River, it's time to get happy!"
He then went and got my lead. Brilliant we're going out for an adventure!
Coming David?
Nah.
Today we went down the road.
"Come on everyone, get happy, chase all your cares away..."
"Come on everyone get happy, waiting for the..."
Ooh we're going through the tunnel.
And I'm allowed to sniff anything I want.
I think letting me do anything I want is making me happy.
Right now, where are those rabbits?
I wonder if they are in here!
They weren't but then we went on to the motorway bridge.
That always makes me happy, watching all the cars.
Time for a drink.
And then home again.
Yes it worked, I'm now very happy. I got happy!
