I was having a lovely sleep and dream, all cuddled up with David when...

...all of a sudden the rain started to come down very, very heavy and I heard some thunder.

I cuddled into David even tighter, that's what best friends do when they are scared.

They Finally Worked Out Why

Hooray, they finally worked out why I was scratching and not eating my tooth sticks. 

Puppynap brought one's that were slightly larger than normal and when Puppynap cut them length ways I could fit them in my mouth easier, I was struggling before. I know they say I've got a big voice when I'm saying hello to the cats and the dogs when they go down the road but I do only have a small mouth. 

Oh yes and thanks for the fan. that's cooling me down nicely it's been so warm. No need to scratch anymore either now I'm nice and cool.

Messy But Very Tasty

It's Only Spitting

It's started to rain and Daddy and Puppynap ran outside to get the washing in. I went to supervise and then they both ran back indoors and called me to come in, but I didn't want to.

They then said I would get very wet if I stayed outside.

It's only spitting.

What a fuss they make.

Bed Head

What do you mean I've got a bed head?

...what do you expect, I didn't want to get up yet!

What's Going On Where Is Everyone?

It's been a very warm day today although it's not been very sunny so I was surprised when all of a sudden Daddy and Puppynap said come on River we're going out.

OK then but I hope you're bringing some water.

Down the road, leading the way,

Looking for cats upon the way, 

Sniffing out news, what do they say?,

Left and right no cars today!

*Giggles*

Phew it's very warm and there's so many steps to get up.

But it's worth it, a whole park all to ourselves. No cars and now no people what's going on, where is everyone?

I know where we are going now.

To see nanny and tend her garden. Lovely roses.

Job well done.

I'm glad we came to visit but I'm so glad to be going home, it's so warm and I really need something cool to drink.

First of all Twizzle came out walking his daddy... 

...then Mogsie came out for a sunbathe...

...and then the cat called Chameleon came by to say hello.

I Was Trying To Keep A Low Profile

I was just having a little sleep on the chair, well actually I was trying to keep a low profile as I've been outside playing in the mud and Puppynap said I should keep myself clean this afternoon after spending a long time cleaning up.

I think I'll get away with it though, David said he's help me cover it up, or clean it up not sure which but either way Puppynap will never know.

I've been out helping Puppynap in the garden. As much fun as it is following him around I do wish he'd stop and play with me.

On Hot Days Like Today

Sometimes, on hot days like today, I like to eat alfresco!

Something Really Naughty

Oh David's doing something really naughty...

...he's going out of the window in the office and we are really high up and he might hurt himself. Puppynap says you should never go out of an open window, no matter how tempted you are.

And Then All Of A Sudden... - I'm Off!

We were having such a fun game running around the house and tickling each other when Puppynap said we shuld join him and Daddy in the garden, today was going to be one of the hottest days in the year.

He wasn't wrong, it was boiling, boiling. He got our garden shade out for me to sit under but I preferred to sit out in it enjoying the little bits of air when they hit me and watching them both doing lots of things in the garden.

It was so hot I was a bit confused as to what they were up to and then all of a sudden...

...up went the pool and Puppynap said he would teach me to swim if I wanted.

I'm not a fan of the bath so a great big pool of water does not interest me in the slightest.

I'm off!

A-Phew - Lovely

This is lovely all snuggled up in the sun with David and Puppynap, David makes the best blanket, he's so lovely and warm.

I Spy With My Little Eye...

It turns out that coming indoors because it was raining does have it's advantages.

I got put up on the counter top as Daddy and Puppynap had a chat and I spy with my little eye, something beginning with T.

Tasty cream cakes.

I'll just have to wait until they are distracted for a minute!

But Then - Humph!

It's such a beautiful day that I just had to come out in the garden...

...and do some sunbathing with my Daddy.

But then the skies turned all grey...

...and it started to rain and we had to come indoors.

Humph!

It Turned Out He Was Made Of Stone

I was waiting for Daddy to come home and then all of a sudden Puppynap picked me up and put me in the car. He said we were going to meet him somewhere.

Let's go!

We was only in the car for a few minutes and then we were there, where we were going.

There was a little garden especially for doggies.

Then I played a trick on Puppynap and hid under the bench he was sitting on.

But I didn't stay there long there was too many interesting smells everywhere.

I found a little doggie sitting by the door but it turned out he was made of stone.

Then Daddy turned up and I realised where we were going. We were going to see the Doctor it was time for my injections.

We went in and Daddy weighed me. I weight 7.2 kilograms, although I didn't want to sit still there were other little doggies everywhere.

I said hello to all of them but because there were so many in the end I had to sit on Daddy's lap and wait...

...until it was my turn to go and see the Doctor.
