It Turned Out To Be A Squirrel

I wasn't sure what was happening Daddy had put his shoes on and I thought he was going out but then he sat down and didn't move for ages so I thought I must have got things wrong.

Silly me, I forgot Puppynap takes ages to get ready when they are going out, Daddy was just having a little rest before he said come on River let's put your jumper on it's cold out and we're going to the park!

Come on then, I'm ready and waiting!

I wasn't sure what park we was going to but we got in the car and I looked out of the window to see the way.

Brilliant it's the park with the wood in it, I love it here, there's always so much to see and do.

*Sniff, sniff*

Just catching up on the doggie news.

Oh they went this way and I can smell fresh tracks, come on Daddy and Puppynap we need to catch the other doggies up.

Hurry up, they're getting away.

They've left clues all along the way, they had a little walk in the forest then got back on the path.

Oh no, I can't smell them anymore!

But I can see them BRILLIANT!

After we had a chat I went and looked at this bit of art. Strange!

Then I went chasing the moles, I could tell they were here they left mole hills all over the place.

I thought I saw one running under this tree, but it turned out to be a squirrel.

This was a brilliant walk through the park but I think if we hurry up Daddy we can catch up some more doggies, they've left their news scent here!

I'm Trying To Sleep!

Daddy and Puppynap came back home very late last night, in fact I think it might even have been this morning. My nanny The Elf did a very good job looking after me and David but I was so glad when they got home that I ran around and around in circles and jumped backwards.

I think I got a bit over-excited and just couldn't sleep when it was time for us all to go to bed and kept on jumping up and down on the bed. It doesn't matter though, I'm cuddled up with my Daddy now on the sofa, I wish he would keep still though, I'm trying to sleep!

Snow's Back!

 I was just having a gravy bone for breakfast, Puppynap had forgotten to get me my tooth sticks yesterday, when all of a sudden I heard David calling out for me to come and look at things out of the window.

He was very excitable and so we both ran to the back door to have a look and see what was going on.

I was just having a little lay down with David, he's very tired today, when Puppynap said come on River, it's a nice day let's get some sun!

In The Dog House

I was just having a little play with pinkie my baby toy and David when Puppynap said it was nice to see that we both have so much energy this morning. After all, he said, we did keep Daddy up all night keeping on coming down the stairs to play.

He said we were in the dog house. 

I know I'm a dog and I live here so of course we're in the dog house. What on earth is he going on about?
