When I Woke Up - I'd Best Go To Sleep Then

It's so lovely being home. Daddy and Puppynap put lots of duvets on the floor and said we were going to have a camp out down the stairs.

I had a special bit with lots of things for me but I wanted to be near them and when they went to sleep I crawled over Daddy and went to sleep between them both.

I did get a bit itchy, I'm starting to feel things down there but Puppynap woke up gave me a scratch and then put my cone back on and we went back to sleep.

When I woke up I had a lovely card from my friends over the road that Daddy showed mer It's lovely and when I'm allowed I'll play with that later. I love cards thank you Mogsie and Twizzle.

Then Puppynap gave me some steak, I was very hungry I didn't have anything t eat yesterday, I just didn't feel like it although I did have some water put into my mouth by a very special little tube thing.

I also had my pills...

...there are a lot of them at the moment but they are to make me better.

I need to drink more water Puppynap says, to keep my fluids up as well, whatever that means.

David slept down the stairs with us last night as well but I didn't see him until just now, I think he was going off to play somewhere. I can't wait until I can play again with him, but I'm not allowed just yet.

Once I had them I got very sleepy almost straight away. Daddy says that's so I repair myself quickly. I'd best go to sleep then, they said a surprise was coming later and I want to make sure I am awake for that.

It's gone cat crazy out there tonight.

First of all Twizzle came out walking his daddy... 

...then Mogsie came out for a sunbathe...

...and then the cat called Chameleon came by to say hello.

I wish they would play with me. Come back.

My Christmas Day by River aged 3

I woke up and it was Christmas Day. I was allowed on the bed all night and it was nice and warm on Daddy. Pupynap had a bath and then said I should make sure I remember all of the day today.

When I woke up it was Christmas Day.

I had a little drink and then said to everyone, come on it's time to go and open our presents.

Come on everyone, hurry up!

But when I got down the stairs only Daddy and Puppynap and David was down here. I looked out of the window to see who was coming today.

But I waited for ages and got bored and decided to have a look at my presents to see what I was having. David joined me, we couldn't work it out.

And then I cuddled up with Puppynap and we watched a programme about a reindeer going for a walk in the snow.

David then came to ask if they were here yet but they wasn't. When they get here we can have our presents.

Daddy then came down in his Christmas clothes and we had a cuddle while we waited.

And then the girl came down the stairs and we had a game of rough and tumble.

And then finally they were here.

Come on everyone, it's time to open our presents. Come on everyone.

*Sniff, sniff*

I got a teddy and some wrapping paper...

Yes, lots of bags of treats and snackeroos and things. Lovely!

Then I was tired out and had a lay with teddy on my chair and had a little sleep.

But I woke up when David came in with Puppynap playing with his new toy, a feathering thing on a string. 

Wow!

Then we had a little dance together.

And we both had some extra treats.

And then there was a knock on the door and Mogsie, Twizzle and George's mummy came over to say hello and give me and David some presents.

Brilliant, what have I got?

It's a squeaky penguin, especially for Christmas. I'll say a big thank you next time I see her. It was brilliant present.

And then The Elf came me a great big bone, a bit too big for my mouth but I gave it a go.

And then I remembered I was hungry, it was the afternoon and went in the kitchen t see what Daddy and Puppynap were doing.

While David waited for his dinner at the table.

I had a full roast. Ummm!

I was very full up afterwards and fell asleep on the animal magic legs.

And woke up to Puppynap saying this was the lady that I was named after come to say Happy Christmas to me. She was on the TV

It was then getting late so I cuddled up with The Elf for a sleep until...

David woke me up and we both got some more treats to eat.

Phew, I'm worn out now, it's been such a busy day.

All These Cats

It's raining AGAIN, which is just rubbish because I can't go out to play in the garden and try and find Nadia. Puppynap plays a good game with me called let's find the tortoise but we've not been able to do it for ages. It's great in the Summertime because she doesn't hide as well then but in the Wintertime she build's tunnels and things and I've got to sniff her out which is doubly hard with ALL THIS RAIN!

I got fed up just sleeping next to Puppynap though and when he went to the toilet I jumped up on the window to see if Tiny was out playing but he wasn't.

But there was all these cats looking at us over here looking sad. That one called Twizzle was looking from her window...

...and the one called Emma was hiding under the car and looked like she was crying, but maybe it was the rain in her face.

Love Heart's brother was hiding under a car in the road, looking a bit surprised at something, and....

...Love Heart was under another car. I thought she would come and play with me, she does sometimes. She's like Lil' she likes to play chase along the back wall but even she didn't look like she wanted to play today.

Erghhhhh it's not fair all these cats around and not one of them in the mood to play with me today. I think I best go back to sleep again, Puppynap said I can play with some of my special friends later. BRILLIANT!

I Know Something They Don't

I had a brilliant dinner tonight, it was pasta and pasta always makes me go maaaaddddd. I love running outside when I've had pasta round and round and round the garden and tonight even though it was raining I still did it and then came in and showed Daddy and Puppynap how wet I was.

But I wasn't finished yet and grabbed my pulling cloth. They were going to play with me, I made sure of that!

After about an hour Daddy said it was time for me to get a brush and get all my tangles out. When he was doing that Puppynap went to the door and then came back in. There was a card with my name on it. 

I thought it might be my birthday but I didn't think so that wasn't very long ago.

It was from our friend's M and R and from Mogsie and Emma and Twizzle. Puppynap read it out but I got confused. It was about Lil' but I thought she was just on an adventure holiday. 

Puppynap sat me down and said he needed to explain something to me, I think he must have seen I was confused. Lil' was on an adventure he said but that I wouldn't be seeing her again, she wasn't going to come back to play with me but that she loved me very much.

That mad me sad but I know something they don't, Lil' is here I can hear her, I've heard her all day it's just that I haven't seen her yet, but I will. Oh yes I know that I will, after all Daddy did say I had special powers, all doggies and cats do!
