Sitting Up The Top Of The Garden

I was a very good girl, waiting patiently with my Daddy for my friends to arrive, Daddy said there was going to be a special little person coming to see me. Ooh.

It was a little baby. He was very cute and we played together in the garden and then Daddies other friend CC came. We've played together before, he's such fun.

I went to get David to get him to join in the fun but he said he was fine where he was, sitting up the top of the garden by the Swinging Heart of Love. That was a shame he missed out on so much fun today. Still we can have our own fun tomorrow in the garden, if it's nice and sunny that is, I'm keeping away from that thunder stuff.

I Shall Name Him Bob!

We only just got back in from our walk, I was telling David all about it when there was a knock, knock on the door.

It was Daddies friend and Twevor's mummy come to see me.

AND!

She brought me a present as well, I shall name him Bob!

All This Heat Business

I was just having a lay down at the back of the house, it's cooler there, when Puppynap said come on River, come see who's come to see you.

It's my new friend, she's called Holly!

We played rough and tumble and chase in the garden for a bit but it's so hot today...

...that we got out of breath very quickly and had to go and have a lay down on the stones, in the cool. It's exhausting all this heat business!

The New Fence

I was just having a little sleep when I heard Daddy and Puppynap out in the garden making noise and doing things.

I went to go out and see what was happening but my door was locked and all I could do was sit there and call out, come on let me out!

In the end they did and I was allowed to go through onto the other side of the garden, Daddy was putting up the new fence with Puppynap and some friends of the lady who lives next door. 

She's got a lovely garden and I walked all the way around it and had a little toilet and then we all had sausages.

It was BRILLIANT! But we hadn't finished yet so I had to come home and make sure the wood was the right size.

Yes I think I've got the size right, that will fit the gap perfectly!

JUMP!

I was having a lovely little sleep after Puppynap cut the hair out of my face, I was really good and stayed still and got a big treat for being so good.

Then Daddy said, come on River it's playtime.

OK, I think I'll have that knee first!

Or should I have those toes?

Nah I'll show Daddy how I can jump into his arms

I missed so I had another go.

Come on Lil', it's your turn!

LIL' IT'S YOUR TURN NOW. JUMP!

Lil' did jump but right up the stairs and then I heard the door ringing.

BRILLIANT, it's my friend come to see me. Love your scarf, I'm having that!

ALL NIGHT

It was an amazing night. First of all the boy and the girl came around and the boy played with me loads. He likes tickling his fingers around my face and sometimes he tickles my teeth. 

Then another lady came the one who sometimes has Twevor with her but she didn't have him this time he was playing with his cousin who he lives with now she lives in a far away land.

Then... I got to sleep on the bed ALL NIGHT. Daddy brought me upstairs and I could her Puppynap and that lady talking and I wanted them to come up to bed so I called to them from the top of the stairs but they didn't come up and then Daddy came and got me and said cuddle in. And I did, ALL NIGHT!

I think Lil' liked it because she came and said so to me this morning, I'm getting better and understanding what she's saying now I'm 1.

Don't Forget Me

I could see Puppynap was getting ready to go out, I saw him put on his shoes.

Don't forget me, don't forget me!

He didn't. We went out and then saw the lady M from over the road. I saw her first and started to run to her and then saw me and called me over to give me a big stroke. They talked for ages and I saw a bowl of food out the front and tried to eat it but Puppynap wouldn't let me. Errghhhh.

Come on let's go Puppynap.

We went down the road and across the big road. I was very good and ran quickly, quickly all the way across. I was glad when we came to the stream as Puppynap found a bowl and filled it up from the water. He did nearly fall in and said he got a stingly needle on his leg but that it didn't matter as I was thirsty and out of breath from all that big girl running.

The water was freezing cold but delicious.

We then went down an alley that I've been down before, I know this way at the end there's a field and then a road and then nanny.

But I got a brilliant surprise on the other side of the alley my friend Kiwi was there. I've not seen him for ages and ages and the lady said she'd not seen me for a long time too and we all gave each other cuddles and Kiwi sniffed my bottom.

I was so glad when we got to nannies, I just couldn't walk another step then I remembered we had to go all the way back again. I'm glad I got a snack and some more water to help me on my way.
