I’ve been a very good girl today Puppynap says.
All of a sudden we was in the car. I wasn’t sure where we were going.
But it was to the doctors.
I have news!
Puppynap back out and left me and David to run the house. He went to see daddy after the operation.
I was hoping that daddy was coming home tonight but Puppynap came home on his own. He said daddy had to stay in at least one night. He’s doing ok but his arms been badly damaged and he’ll have long term complications.
I shall really have to step up my nursing duties when he comes home but for now a little rest in the garden is just what I need!
We all woke up early today, I was awake at 4 as it’s a very important day.
Daddy has been taken to the hospital for an operation. I’m very alert I can’t sleep but I’ll just rest here until they come back home!
I just can’t be bothered to move, it’s so hot, even for me!
It’s tiring being a Nursey River so I’m getting some rest while I can while daddy has a little bit of a sleep.
He’s not sleeping much at the moment so we must be quiet when he is sleeping so I’m just having a bit of a rest with David. I must be prepared for when he wakes up. He needs my love!
What a day I’ve had.
First of it as it was hot we was allowed to go in and out as much as we wanted.
Then daddies friend came down to see us.
And then I went to see my friends Barney, Bloosom, Humphrey and Sidney and had a spa day.
What a day it’s been, all go go go!
I was wondering where everyone was yesterday.
Puppynap went out in all of a rush and although he came home really, really late daddy wasn’t with him.
Then a bit later Puppynap went out again and then when I woke up Puppynap was back and so was daddy and it was daylight.
Daddy had an accident but he’s going to be ok although he has to have an operation.
Nursey River on duty, once I’ve finished my sleep!
Brilliant it’s sunny today and I’ve spent lunchtime in the garden with Puppynap.
Thank you Puppynap for making me a big cushion bed. It’s very comfortable and I can see everything from up here too!
Me and day have been having catch up cuddles today.
We’ve had lots of them to catch up on. We’ve still got a couple of go yet but it was time for a snack break!
Daddy will be home soon, Puppynap told me.
I’m keeping a very close eye out, I want to be with him at the soonest second. I’ve really missed him!
I’m a bit sad.
I had everyone up at 4 this morning. I was awake and needed a walk.
Puppynap took me out and when we came home daddy was up waiting.
But don’t worry about the sleep. I’ve managed to sleep all day.
Tine for an after dinner treat I think!
It’s more comfy that it looks.
Trust me, I know, I’m practiced at lots of different positions!
I’m keeping a big eye out for daddy to come home.
I’ve been asleep all day and now I’ve woken up I want everywhere exactly where u can see them and I won’t rest until I can!
Stop looking, I’m just keeping daddies seat warm for him until he comes back, or until he goes to bed!
Bank holiday Saturday and the sun is out.
And so are we. Now I just need to think how I can get past the gate and into the garden!
