So Many Unexpected Surprises

I was just having a little sleep yesterday evening in the window on my new viewing platform when all of a sudden there was a surprise.

It was a girl Daddy and Puppynaps friend and Twevors mummy. She had come to see me.

I wished she was quicker on her feet I had to wait ages and I had to tell her to hurry up too.

We like her a lot. It was such a surprise even David stuck around and he's a very private cat. 

We talked and talked and talked well into the night and I learnt a few things I didn't know before.

When an evening. So many unexpected surprises.

What A Day I've Had!

When I got up this morning I didn't expect the day to be as it was.

Everything normal to begin with, come down the stairs and got a tooth stick for breakfast.

Then went outside with David to do our trick where we get extra treats.

Hang on a second David where you gone?

He was inside eating his Dreamies and forgot to tell me that he was on his way back in. Still it didn't matter I still got my gravy bone. I ate it as I had a look outside.

And then me and David gave each other a clean on Puppynap's leg.

Then Daddy came down and gave me a cuddle. He then said it wasn't the weekend. Brilliant Daddy is home and it's only Friday. I love my Daddy.

And then we all got ready and got in the car to go for an adventure.

But then Daddy got out and gave me a great big kiss and said he would see me on Sunday. He was off to visit Twevors mummy C all the way up in Scotland.

Wait a minute, I can come. But he said I couldn't this time he was going on an aeroplane.

Then Puppynap brought me home and said it was time to celebrate Izzy's birthday. Brilliant it's Izzy's birthday, I looked out the window for her but he said she wasn't coming to play as she wasn't feeling very well.

Oh!

Get well soon Izzy so we can play again together.

Then Puppynap went and did some work and I fell asleep. The quicker you sleep, the faster the moment comes when it's time for play. When I woke up Puppynap said he had to do some things and got the paint and sanding buzzy thing out and went into the kitchen.

Huff!

I wanted to play but he said he had to do things so I went outside to see if David was around to play with but he wasn't so I sat in the sun and watched out for the squirrel's in the tree but I didn't see them.

I fell asleep outside but I woke up when Puppynap called for me to come in and have my dinner, tuna...

...and chips

Phew what a day I've had, I'm exhausted now so I think I'll have a nice long sleep and the sooner I go to bed, the sooner my Daddy will be home and give me lots of kisses and cuddles. Love you Daddy x

I Shall Name Him Bob!

We only just got back in from our walk, I was telling David all about it when there was a knock, knock on the door.

It was Daddies friend and Twevor's mummy come to see me.

AND!

She brought me a present as well, I shall name him Bob!

When I Woke Up

When I woke up the girl was still here, she was asleep in the bed in the next room and I went in to her to wake her up and say hello, here's a little wee for you. We then all went outside to play but I was more interested...

...in the old plane that was in the sky.

And then I did some sunbathing on Puppynaps tummy...

...before Daddy said come on River here's some special meat for you. It's called beef.

And then I heard a beep, beep and the girl who is Twevors mummy was here but she didn't bring Twevor to play today but she made up for her mistake by giving me lots of cuddles.

And then I helped Daddy with the wood for the fire.

And we all sat and watched it as we tried to get warm.

And now it's night time I'm sitting up the back of the garden waiting for my friends to come and so I can tell them all about my day...

...while everyone else sits down there getting louder and louder.

ALL NIGHT

It was an amazing night. First of all the boy and the girl came around and the boy played with me loads. He likes tickling his fingers around my face and sometimes he tickles my teeth. 

Then another lady came the one who sometimes has Twevor with her but she didn't have him this time he was playing with his cousin who he lives with now she lives in a far away land.

Then... I got to sleep on the bed ALL NIGHT. Daddy brought me upstairs and I could her Puppynap and that lady talking and I wanted them to come up to bed so I called to them from the top of the stairs but they didn't come up and then Daddy came and got me and said cuddle in. And I did, ALL NIGHT!

I think Lil' liked it because she came and said so to me this morning, I'm getting better and understanding what she's saying now I'm 1.

Lady Times

Twevors mummy came over to see me yesterday and she gave me loads and loads of cuddles. Twevor didn't come because he had a cold. Wow I've never heard of a dog having a cold before but I suppose he must be tucked up in bed like daddy was when he had a cold.

This morning just before she went away she let me play biting the hair. I thought a girl made that came up but no it's a game other girls know as well.

When she went I was really tired after all that playing so I decided to have a little sleep. I'm having lady times as Puppynap calls them and it's tiring me out a bit more quicker than normal. Just as I was falling asleep I heard a big noise outside and went to investigate.

Daddy and Puppynap were hovering the grass so I went out there to help them. They were very grateful for all my help they said so and gave me big cuddles. I'm now double tired and so am going to sleep all day I think.

Rough Love

Me and Twevor just played really rough and tumble.

What happens is you wait until the other person isn't looking and then you jump on their back and do a bark to make them jump.

It's even better fun if the other person joins in and throws you around the room.

Me and Twevor just played it until we both got worn tired.

We then had a lay next to each other.

I love Twevor!

River Loves Twevor

I love playing with Twevor. 

He let's me jump all over his head and try and eat his chin and chases me around and lets me cuddle up when we get tired.

I wish he lived with us or next door then I could see him all the time.

My Big Adventure With Twevor

Today we went for a trot outside at the front of where I live. I was wearing my blue jumper to keep me warm. One of those men kept on calling me Lil'. My name is River!

After a little way we saw a CAT. He stared back at me as I went past him. He was big and fluffy but he'd didn't play with us.

We played race. Sometimes I was first and sometimes it was Twevor. I ran really hard.

Then we went under a big tunnel but I wasn't scared.  One of those men picked me up as there was glass everywhere.

I even managed to climb a great big wall but I got a bit stuck half way.

I liked playing around in the little bushes that were everywhere. One of those men said there was rabbits around but I didn't see anything.

When we got there I fell asleep I was so tired I just couldn't play anymore. They woke me up and gave me bits of meat. Yum.

I was still so tired on the way back that I just couldn't walk so one of those men carried me in his coat and carried me home. I liked that. I could see everything.

I had a lovely big adventure with Twevor but I'm so tired out I'm going to sleep now.
