Perfect For Drying All My Toys

Yesterday was the hottest day and now today is the hottest day.

I've stayed in the shade all day, it's easy to get hot which isn't good but it's perfect for drying all my toys.

Boy She Is Strong

What an afternoon I've had.

Nanny decided she wanted she'd taken a liking to my favourite toy lamby, so I had to wrestle it off her of.

Boy she is strong.

Now that battle is won I think I'll be keeping lamby very close in the future.

The Polar Bear

I've got a new toy.

I was up with Puppynap in the bedroom playing tug the sleeve when he gave me the polar bear. I didn't even know it was in there all this time.

I'm going to play with it more in a minute after I've tossed David over my shoulder.

And The Leg Came Off My Lamby

Today The Elf came for a surprise visit.

And the sun was shining so I had a little sleep in my chair in the window.

Then it was time to go exploring in the garden.

It was tiring.

Very tiring.

But not too tiring to miss my afternoon snack.

Then Daddy and Puppynap came in and the leg came off my lamby.

Today We Have Some Visitors

Today we had some visitors. It was my friend CC and his sister and mummy and daddy.

They brought some very interesting toys for us to play with but I've had a hard week at work with Daddy so I thought I'd best spend the day sleeping, catching up with some proper work.

I'm Going To Do That Right Now

I've just worked it out.

If I get up really close to the doggie I can rest my head on him like a pillow and have a sleep that way.

BRILLIANT IDEA. I'm going to do that right now.

Dream Of A Way Of Getting That Doggie Moved

It was a late night last night and we're all very tired today.

I just wanted to sleep on the back of the sofa but the big doggie is in the way and I couldn't find a way of settling down so I came next to the girl and cuddled up and Puppynap tucked me in.

I'm going to have a sleep now and try and dream of a way of getting that doggie moved.

Another Surprise That Wasn't Even On The List

I've had the bestest morning and another surprise that wasn't even on the list.

I started out playing with Daddy

Hang on a sec, I'll go get it.

Grrrr! Grrr!

Now this. Now this.

Then the other surprise happened. It started snowing.

BRRR!

Too cold out there for me, I'll watch from the warm.

Oh No It Doesn't Work On Him!

My new game doesn't work on Daddy though...

On no it doesn't work on him!

And Here's The Secret

I've invented a brilliant new game.

What you do is take you favourite teddy to Puppynap and drop it at his feet and then look up at him. What he then does is throw it up the other end of the room and you run after it, and here's the secret, you stay up there and make a little noise.

After a little while up he comes and throws it again and then you repeat the whole thing over again.

We've done it 7 times already, it's such fun getting Puppynap to run around. I think it's my new favourite game.

4 Years Ago Today - RIVER'S HERE! RIVER'S HERE!

When I woke up I was in for a big surprise. 

4 years ago today I met Daddy and Puppynap for the first ever time. I remember as soon as they came in and saw me and my brothers and sisters they were all excited.

I waited until everyone else had sniffed and explored them and then just sat looking up at Daddy. Yes he was the one I was going to go and live with forever. I flashed him my eyes and tried to send him the instant love I felt for him into his head.

It worked, he was covered in my love. and then we came home. Pinky came with me.

I made the bestest ever deicsion.

YIPPEE!

*Legs side kick...and click the heals*

Then I spotted David waiting to celebrate with me so I jumped on his back. I was a bit confused as he then ran off but no worries I'll see him later I expect. 

I came in looking for him but didn't see him but I did see Puppynaps legs and he said if I could wait until he finished his work we could go out for an adventure.

I had a little sleep, these things can take a while.

I woke up and it was time for me to get my coat on. I knew what that meant...

...it was time for us to go out on a special day adventure.

In no time we was at my favourite park. Where there's lots of leaves and an enchanted forest and a bit lion.

AND squirrels everywhere...

I chased after him but didn't catch up with him.

Although I searched for ages and ages.

But I did find lots of leaves to play in.

And I was allowed to go wherever I wanted. It's a big forest so this took a time.

And then...hang on...

...a great big log for me to jump right over. 4 years is a big celebration and I'm stronger than I've ever been and can jump as high as a house.

On the other side was a little bridge...

...and when we went over it everything went really dark.

So we quickly got out of there and into the big open spaces where we went searching for mole...

...and took a look at Stonehendge.

But I could see a lighter bit of the forest so decided...

...to go back in.

Because there was something very important I needed to do.

I needed to say hello to the great big lion that lives there.

Then I saw the car and knew it was time to go.

When we went to the shop I thought Puppynap was getting me a special dinner.

No such luck, they're not breaking my special diet for anything. Bit of luck I managed to pinch a bit of David's breakfast earlier.

I then had a little rest watching out for my Daddy to come home...

...and I got very excited when he did.

RIVER'S HERE! RIVER'S HERE!

Because a celebration wouldn't be a celebration without my Daddy being right here next to me.

AND he's got a lovely bowl of dinner that I can smell even if I can't have any of it. The big eye's don't always work.

But what does work is our family. It works just perfectly and forever!
